Meet Kelly

Kelly Rogers' self-titled debut album was born out of a woman whose life has always been enveloped in music. As the daughter of two musicians, Kelly Rogers' earliest memories are a soundtrack filled with Mozart sonatas, Vivaldi concertos, and a few Rush drum solos thrown in. Her father, David Meece, is an accomplished pianist and Christian music artist who definitely handed down his talent for writing beautiful music and lyrics to his daughter. Kelly's mom, Debbie Meece, is a professional violist, who performs on Kelly's beautiful ballad "All of You." And the family lineage doesn't stop there! Kelly's brother, Chris, can be heard banging out his funky beats on the drums in "Bad Habit," "Restless," "Crazy Beautiful," and "In Love with Love."

Kelly is also what the industry might call a “Triple Threat” as her talents are not limited to singing. Kelly is not only a classically trained singer, but also has collegiate training in dance and theatre. Kelly's passion for dance definitely comes through in her songwriting, as strong rhythmic patterns and driving beats tend to be the foundation of a lot of her songs. Kelly's mindset is, “I don't just want people to want to dance when they hear my music, but have to dance when they hear my music!” This “Quadruple Threat” singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress is in a category all her own.
